<p><strong>Executive Chef/Proprietor Geoff Skillman</strong><br /> Sensational Foods Catering is owned and operated by Chef Geoff Skillman. With over 20 years experience in the catering industry, Chef Geoff has worked with some of the top chefs in the restaurant and catering world; his expertise and passion for food and cooking shows through the detail and preparation of all his food and events. <br /> </p> <p>Executive Chef Geoff Skillman started out at the age of 16 with J. Bildner & Sons, a high end grocery food chain, as a grocery clerk and moved his way up to Cheese and Deli Manger as well as Assistant Chef. During his 5 years Chef Geoff was privileged to work with top European chefs while also attending Newbury College Culinary School to further fine tune his love and passion for food. Always expanding his search for knowledge Chef Geoff then became the Chef/manager of the wholesale Kosher kitchen for The Butcherie in Brookline for 1 year, perfecting Jewish cookery while keeping under Kosher law <br /> </p> <p>In 1995 Chef Geoff assumed the Sous Chef position at Bakers’ Best in Newton. Bringing his knowledge, desire and creativity to the table, Chef Geoff soon became the Executive Chef in 1998. Over the next 8 years, Chef Geoff assisted in growing the company winning numerous “Best of Boston” awards and bringing them to the “Best of Boston” hall of fame. It was also at during this time that Chef Geoff honed his management skills while immediately overseeing 45 kitchen personnel and helped supervise 30 other store employees.<br /> </p> <p>Moving on to other business opportunities Chef Geoff became the Executive Chef and General Manager of Metrowest Catering and The Country Gourmet fine foods and garden center where he created mouthwatering dishes the specialty foods counter while assisted in running all aspects of the business<br /> </p> <p>In 2007 Chef Geoff Skillman took over Sensational Foods Catering and made it his own.
